President and CEO
Derek has been involved
in capital markets for over 12 years. He worked as
an investment analyst at several large North American
financial institutions for over 7 years and taught
finance at college.
Derek’s understanding of the financial markets
effectively complements his well-rounded multidisciplinary
knowledge and network within the investment community.
Derek holds some of the most prestigious professional
designations in the investment industry, including
CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), FRM (Financial
Risk Manager) and CIM (Canadian Investment Manager).
Derek obtained a Bachelor degree in Economics and
a Master’s degree in Economics from York University
and the University of Toronto, respectively.

Chris brings to InvestWELL
Financial over 10 years of accounting and corporate
experience in various financial institutions throughout
North America. His extensive background includes expertise
in taxation, auditing and accounting.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting
and Finance from Ryerson University.
